Standard business cards: size, quantity and options
The standard double-sided business card is printed in full colour on both sides at 8.5 x 5.5 cm (85 x 55 mm). Its minimum order is 100 pieces. Choose 300gsm or 600gsm card, gloss or matte lamination, and square or rounded corners. The product page shows the current price per piece, the quantity tier it applies to and any option charges. Check your configured total before checkout; VAT and shipping are added there. Other formats have their own specifications: compare the business-card range.
Sizes, stocks and finishes
Standard cards are 8.5 x 5.5 cm (85 x 55 mm). Square cards are a separate format; check their product page for the finished size. Choose a clean matte for an understated, easy-to-write-on surface, or a gloss laminate for richer colour and a wipe-clean feel. Heavier card stocks feel more substantial in the hand, a small detail that reads as quality. Double-sided printing gives you room for a logo and tagline on the front and contact details, a QR code, or a service list on the back.
Getting print-ready artwork right
For crisp results, supply artwork at 300 DPI in CMYK with a 3 mm bleed and keep important text inside a 3-4 mm safe margin so nothing is trimmed off. PDF is ideal, but we also accept common image formats. Not sure your file is ready? Upload it anyway. The QuikPrint team reviews every job before it goes to press and flags low-resolution logos, missing bleed, or colour issues before anything is printed.
